New Ukiyo-e are now being made in collaboration with globally renowned British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN! This marks the second major artist collaboration for the Ukiyo-e Project, following the KISS series.
On the occasion of IRON MAIDEN’s first Japan tour in 8 years, the first piece of art entitled “Eddie’s Beauty Revealed” has just been announced, and pre-order sales have begun on

Ukiyo-e Featured in Key Advertising Campaign
Original contemporary Ukiyo-e are now featured as key visuals adorning the buildings of the Grand Front Osaka Plaza as part of the campaign marking the popular downtown building complex’s 3 Year Anniversary.
Drawing inspiration from the shopping and dining options available in the plaza, these illustrations are the work of Masumi Ishikawa, the same illustrator who created the KISS series of Ukiyo-e.
These special collaboration Ukiyo-e adorn the exterior of the building complex and are seen throughout the interior in the shopping and restaurant area. As part of the celebration, Osaka Grand Front also featured an exhibition of 100 Ukiyo-e works, including the KISS Ukiyo-e
New Paul Stanley KISS x Ukiyo-e
The most recent addition to the KISS x UKIYO-E series, a brand new piece featuring the recognisable image of Paul Stanley, is now available for sale. Purchases can be made through, with international shipping options, and the piece is available with or without the band’s signatures.
KISS x UKIYO-E Exhibition at Los Angeles’ Morrison Hotel Gallery
The KISS x Ukiyo-e exhibition has just opened at Los Angeles’ renowned Sunset Marquis/ Morrison Hotel Gallery. Held in timing with Grammy Week, the opening reception welcomed 500 invited guests and members of the press, and legendary rockers Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley joined the event and spoke about the collaboration. Special guests visiting the exhibition included MIYAVI, YOSHIKI, Alice Cooper, and the Japanese Consul General to Los Angeles, Mr. Horiuchi. For the first time ever, all four original Ukiyo-e pieces in the KISS series were displayed, marking the debut of the latest piece featuring Paul Stanley’s image. The works are available both with and without the band’s autographs.

Ukiyo-e Project at the Los Angeles Anime Expo
KISS Ukiyo-e are being featured at the popular Anime Expo held at the downtown LA Convention Center. With Japanese pop group Momoi Clover Z performing a concert at the Expo, the KISS x Momoi Clover Z Ukiyo-e piece was revealed for the first time. Rock legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley joined as special guests at the opening event.
